KaYOGA (Kayak & Beach Yoga)
This is not your average yoga class… and it’s definitely not your average kayak tour.
KaYOGA is where water meets wander, where your breath syncs with the rhythm of your paddle, and where your savasana comes with a side of salty air and sandy toes.
We’ll start by gliding through calm, protected waters, perfect for beginners and seasoned paddlers alike. Sunshine, birdlife, and salt air!
Then, just when you think it couldn’t get any better, we hit the beach.
Cue the mats, the movement, and the magic. Your yoga practice unfolds oceanside, where every inhale is fresh, every exhale a little freer, and balance becomes more than just a pose, it’s a feeling. And, it’s secluded….with no road access, and hardly any people, most of the onlookers are seagulls!
And because we believe in savouring the moment we wrap it all up with a seaside snack and a swim! Now that’s a real “taste of adventure!”

Meet Heather: Your Guide to the Wild
Part veterinarian, part ecologist, part story-weaver… and 100% your go-to human for turning “just a paddle” into whoa, did you see that?!
Heather doesn’t just guide you’ll sea things differently with her (yes, we went there). Birds aren’t just birds, fish aren’t just fish, and the landscape? It starts telling stories.
Zen Master Meets Nature Nerd
When it’s time to unroll the mats, Heather shifts seamlessly from wild guide to calm creator of ahhh.
She’s a certified E-RYT 200, RYT 200, and YACEP Yoga Alliance teacher (with 500-hour training in progress), and has been practicing yoga since 2009 so you’re in very grounded hands.:
- Trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
- Certified meditation and mindfulness instructor
- Graduate of Canada’s only graduate-level mindfulness program (hello, University of the Fraser Valley)
- Certified MBSR facilitator through the Centre for Mindfulness Studies

Heather’s real superpower is blending it all (science, stillness, and a deep love of the natural world) into experiences that feel effortless, playful, and powerful.
